The “Silent Scandal” series revolves around the sorted histories of film stars of the silent era. Each painting carries with it the emotional baggage of a forgotten or hidden aspect of their life and seeks to elicit an emotional response from the viewer. From murder, to communist leanings, and even racial injustice, the voices of those no longer able to speak are heard.
